Please provide your child with a waterproof coat each day and a water bottle with only water in – no juice please as we have a duty now to look after children’s teeth and will have a big focus on dental hygiene. We will also start to collect 50p contributions at the beginning of each week to help us with providing resources to help enhance the curriculum for your child.
Each week we will update the blog with learning that will take place the following week. We will aim to do this on a Tuesday when staff have their planning and preparation time.
Over the next few weeks you child will take part in the Governments Baseline Assessment which is compulsory for all schools. This will take part during the school day with a member of the Reception team. It will consist of little activities and games and the children will be under no pressure. Please see the document below which explains all about the Baseline and should answer any questions you may have.
