In Nursery we have been learning all about the season ‘Autumn’.
We have been looking at changes in our environment and have been on an Autumn walk around our school grounds. We have also been collecting Autumn objects and bringing them in, in our Autumn collections bag. We have been using all our senses to explore the Autumn objects and have created an Autumn investigation area in Nursery.
We have also created lots of Autumn pictures and made leaf crowns with the leaves we found on our walk.

Nursery have been reading the story of the Owl babies by Martin Waddell
They have been using puppets to retell the story.

Its been wonderful getting to know all the children and seeing them settle in so well.
For our topic ‘All about me’ we talked about how we need to look after our bodies by eating healthy food and by exercising. We learnt about our bodies and our senses and looked at how much we have grown and changed since we were babies.

The children all dressed up as their favourite book characters and shared their favourite books with their friends. Everyone looked amazing and we had a lovely day sharing books and stories.
