A selection of our year 5 children were chosen to represent Coundon at a ‘Values Dodgeball Event’ this week. They attended the Xcel Centre on Tuesday 3rd November, where they competed against children from other schools in Coventry.
The idea behind this event was not about who can win the most games in the conventional way, instead the children scored the other teams based on how they upheld a set of core values during their matches. These were Honesty, Respect and Teamwork. Mrs Howarth was super proud of the children she took, and how well they represented the school. She stated that ‘the children were all so lovely, respectful and really cheered one another on!
