Working hard!

As always, our Year 2 children continue to work hard during these difficult times. Take a look below at what Stefan and Sofia (2AS) have been doing at home…

Keeping in touch…

As the plan for certain year groups to return to school this week has changed, the Year 2 staff will now be available to live chat with you for the rest of the week on the Microsoft TEAMS class groups, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. We look forward to hearing from you and what you have been up to during the half term break. Teachers are still available via email too, to answer any questions that you may have regarding the home learning.

Summer Term B

Good Morning Year 2! We hope you all had a lovely half term break and managed to enjoy some of the sunshine. As some year groups will be returning back to school later this week, all teachers will be in school on Monday and Tuesday and so unfortunately we are unable to live chat with you on Microsoft Teams. However, from Tuesday onwards there will always be a member of the Year 2 staff available to chat on the Year 2 group; please use the Year 2 group chat from now on. Please note, all teachers are still available via email as before. You will find all this week’s home learning power-points below. Take care and remain safe everyone! We hope to see you back at school very soon!

HALF TERM

It is Half Term this week so there are no PPTs for home learning. PPTs will resume on Monday 1st June. There is no expectation for the children to be working this week but it would be lovely if they could join in with the TT Rockstars Battle: Girls v Boys; the battle ends on Thursday. Please remember that the Oxford Owl website has over 350 e-books, covering all reading levels, so if your child has finished their reading book and you would like them to have a new book, then please choose one from here or a free choice book from home is just as good. Have a well deserved rest, stay safe and enjoy the sunshine everyone!

STARS OF THE WEEK! Week beginning: 18.5.20

Once again you have all astounded us with your effort and hard work Year 2. Our ‘Stars of the Week’ for last week are: Shaurya (2AD) for his fantastic time machine, Ethan (2RM) for continuing to improve his handwriting and presentation skills and Elisha (2AS) for his super research on Florence Nightingale and an amazing commitment to home learning. Well done to you all!
