STARS OF THE WEEK! Week beginning 15.6.20

We are so super proud of all of your hard work that you have been sending to us, Year 2. Last week these children really impressed us and therefore have been chosen as Star of the Week for their class. Brody McL (2AS) for a wonderful t-shirt design for Traction Man, using a variety of onomatopoeic words. Olivia S (2RM) for excellent presentation, especially her handwriting and Odysseas (2AD) for making a great effort in all curriculum areas. Well done to you all!

More Fantastic Work From 2AS!

2AS have really enjoyed reading Traction Man and have produced some excellent Englishwork as a result…

Grace G created her own Traction Girl story! First she made a plan and then she acted out scenes from her new story.

Sofia learned how to use the computer to record her Traction Man work. Well done!

Click on the eBooks link below. All books are free to access but you will need to register first. Click on the age range 5-6 or 6-7 and select a title. Talk to your child about why they choose that book. Encourage your child to make predictions on what the book might be about? -Ask questions about what the child has read? In stories, can they recall the main events? Can they discuss the characters and give reasons as to why characters behaved the way they did or why events happened, based on what they have read?
