It has been lovely chatting to some of you on Microsoft Teams. It’s really great to see what you have been getting up to! I have attached the weeks work for Maths, Phonics and Guided Reading.
We are excited to announce that from this week we will be using ‘Microsoft Teams’ to help us to stay in touch during this challenging time. Your teachers will call you to help you to get started.
You will need to go to www.office.com (through Google Chrome if you are using an apple computer/macbook etc) and use the email address and password that you have been given over the phone. (If you have not been given this please email your class teacher.)
When you sign in for the first time you will be asked to change your password. Make this unique and something that you will be able to remember. (Note: Always keeps your passwords secret.) Once you have signed in you will should see a welcome sign. You will now be able to send an instant message to your class teacher using one of the email addresses below.
The settings on your account means that you can only send instant messages to your teachers and only receive instant messages from your teachers. You will also be able to access a wide range of on-line applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. These may help you to complete future work. You will also be able to see a symbol that says ‘Teams’. This is the application that we can use to help to keep in touch. You can log in and post messages to the groups / channels / teams that you have been assigned to.
A teacher from the year 1 team will be available between 10-12 pm each day, starting from Wednesday 13th May. We hope to ‘see’ you on there soon…
I hope you are all safe and keeping well, how are we already in May?! Thanks again for the lovely emails this week, I am so impressed with what I have been seeing. I have attached the next weeks home learning for maths, guided reading and phonics for you all.
You can aslo access daily quality phonics lessons from Letters and Sounds via their YouTube channel. I have popped the link below for you all 🙂
We just wanted to let you ALL know how much we are all missing you. This is a message from the staff to you. Hope you enjoy it! Thank you to the extraordinarily talented Mrs A-B for putting this together. Hope you enjoy it. Coundon Primary presents…
