Snowman competition

Well done to everyone who made a Snowman for our competition they were amazing.

A big well done to Harleen who was chosen by the ECO squad as our winner ?

Christmas Activities ?

In Nursery we have began our preparations for Christmas. We have decorated our tree and have began making our cards and calendars ready to bring home at the end of term. We have used a variety of media to create our Winter display. Each day we choose someone who has been working really hard to open a door of our Advent calendar.

We are going on a bear hunt activities

This week we have been acting out and retelling the story ‘We are going on a bear hunt’ We had lots of fun acting the story out on the school field and even found a bear!

We all joined in the ring game ‘here we go round the Mulberry bush’ as we explored the frost on the field.

Going on a bear hunt activities

We have been reading the story ‘We are going on a bear hunt’ written by Michael Rosen. We have been recalling the story and joining in with the repeated refrains. We have acted out the story using props and made up our own actions.

Using bears we have played ‘Where is the bear?’ using the prepositions on, inside, under, next to and behind. You could practice these at home using a teddy bear and empty cardboard box.
