Headteacher’s Award – Friday 18th December

Wow… What a first term! Your children have all been an absolute credit to you and a pleasure to teach. It has been such a strange start to their time in Year One and the way we have had to do things has been very different for us too! Nevertheless, they have adapted so well to the current situation and have really got stuck into everything that we have given them.

It is for this reason that the staff in Year One have made the decision that the whole year group deserve the recognition this week for the Head Teacher’s Award, they really have amazed us this term and they even managed to put together a little Christmas Performance for you to enjoy!

Look out for your link on each classes TEAMs channel (in the files section) and enjoy!

Charlie

Well done on making some fantastic progress in your Maths learning as well as demonstrating resilience and perseverance. Keep it up Charlie, we are all so proud of you!

Merry Christmas

To Year 4 children and parents,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for such a wonderful first term back at school. It has been challenging returning after such a long time but we are so proud of the children and everything that they have achieved. Thank you parents for your continued support in these unprecedented times.

It is most important that the children are able to take a well-earned break over the holidays, ensuring that they return to school in January refreshed and ready to learn. As a result of this, we will not be setting any homework or spellings.  Please enjoy plenty of family time; playing board games, going for walks, watching films together and enjoying seeing family where possible.

Thank you to everyone for your kind thoughts and generous gifts- these are truly appreciated and will certainly be enjoyed over the festive period!

Wishing you every happiness in the new year,

The Year 4 Team

Well done Chloe – we are all so proud of you. Keep shining like the star you are !
