All the work can be done straight onto paper- 1cm graph paper is best and can be downloaded. However, we have also made and attached worksheets just in case you prefer to print these off.
English end of week writing task 27.4.20
Sorry for any confusion with the English Home Leaning Power point. You will find the Adjectives and Adverbs Power point and the Seaside Senses poem on separate tabs below. The writing task that children need to complete for this week is their own Seaside Senses Poem, following the structure of the poem given. The task on the final slide just asks the children to think if they can generate more interesting sentences about the seaside by including effective adjectives and adverbs. Hope this helps!

Hi everyone! It has been lovely chatting to you all over the past week and finding out how you are all coping and what fun activities you have been doing at home. We miss you all! You will find daily English, Reading, Maths and Creative Curriculum tasks on the links below. All the activities can be completed without having to print off any resources. We have also provided links to daily phonics lessons for those children who are in Mrs Gaffoor and Mrs Wilson’s Phonics Groups and online extra spelling practice for the children in Mrs Sweet, Mrs Dalton and Miss Mower’s Spelling Groups. Our online Spelling Resource ‘Read, Write, Inc. Spelling’ has created some extra practice revision activities for children to access during school closures. If your child, is in Mrs Sweet, Mrs Dalton or MIss Mower’s spelling groups; then please have a go at working through the Year 2 activities with your child at home. There is full guidance for parents on how to use the resource, once you have logged in. Please use the logins provided for each class below.
