Teams and TT Rockstars

It was fantastic to chat to you all on Teams this morning. Remember we will be on-line each day 10:00-12:00. There will be another quiz tomorrow and based on requests we will be making this a bit more challenging. We would also like you to upload an example of your learning on Friday to share with everyone in your class. If you have any questions or are struggling to access Teams please email your teacher.

Mr Tooby and Miss Bates are setting themselves a target of 1000!
Miss Canterbury has set herself a target of 1100!

Well done 1DG… The learning from Week 2 is looking good!

A big well done to Maddie, Gene, Penny, Jacob and Ayla for having a go at your letters to Dom and Kathryn and sharing them with us.

You’ve sent us lots of fantastic maths work too, well done! Love Jake’s use of Lego!

Great work Saba too, she has shared some of her VE Day craft with us, we hope all of our families enjoyed celebrating such a special day.

Using Microsoft Teams

We are looking forward to ‘chatting’ to you this morning! Please use your class team (eg 2RM) to talk to your friends and teacher. We will only use the Year 2 team on a Tuesday when some staff are in school.

Microsoft Teams

We are excited to announce that from tomorrow we will be using ‘Microsoft Teams’ to help us to day in touch during these challenging times. Your teacher will call you to get started.

You will need to go to www.office.com and use the email and password that you have been given over the phone. (If you have not been given this please email your class teacher.)

When you sign in for the first time you will be asked to change your password. Make this unique and something that you will be able to remember. (Note: Always keep y9our password secret.)

Once you have signed in you will see a welcome sign. You will now be able to send an email to our class teacher using one of the email addresses below. The settings on your account means that you can only send emails to your teachers and only receive emails from your teachers.

You will be able to access a wide range of on-line applications, such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel. These may help you to complete future work.

You will also be able to see a symbol that says ‘Teams’. This is the application that we can use to help keep in touch. You can log in and post messages to the groups/channels/teams that you have been assigned to.

A teacher from the Year 4 team will be available between 10-12pm each day, starting from Wednesday 13th May.

We hope to ‘see’ you on there soon…
