Well Done

Have something to say?

This week in English, the children were looking at the features of a letter of complaint. This was so that by the end of the week, they could produce their own. Well done to Kale for his hard effort in producing a letter of complaint. It was well thought out, organised and written. Thank you for your hard work 🙂

Stars of the Week

There has been some amazing work shared this week through emails and Teams. The teachers have picked some children who they believe need a special mention. Our Stars of the week are…

5RB: Charlie Edwards-Swords – for all of his fantastic home learning, especially this week. He has made an excellent effort at improving his handwriting and has made a great start to his Lighthouse story with lots of relevant features included too. Well done Charlie!
5JT: Angel Baffoe – for her consistent, hard work throughout the week. She uses ‘Teams’ everyday without fail to support her learning and the teachers all love our daily chats 🙂
5AS: Chantelle Dube – for her hard work with her home learning and also being a supportive member of the year group on ‘Teams’. While also using her baking skills at home (just a pity she can’t bring her ‘work’ in for Mr Scott!)

Fiction Express and TT Rockstars

FICTION EXPRESS: New books have been released today. You can choose from three different books. Choose from ‘Mayflower Stowaways’, ‘Pandora’s Box’ or ‘The Mystery of Roanoke’. Read the first chapter, answer the quiz and then vote for what you want to happen next. (Please email your teacher if you are unable to access). Please let us know your thoughts so we can add them to the blog too…
Well Done to Bright and Ana for all of the reading you have been doing on Fiction Express too 🙂

TT Rockstars: While we are not holding a weekly ‘Teachers v Pupils’ we are still answering ‘Rock Slams’. Well Done to Daniel B who beat Mr Scott by one!!
Part of the Maths lessons next week will also focus on TT Rockstars. Can you improve your Rock Status? Can you beat your teacher?
