Well done to Frankie in 1KM for an excellent improvement in his behaviour this half term! He has really begun to settle into the routines and expectations in Year One.
Tommy in 1DG is also really rising to the challenges of Year One, he tries his hardest in all areas of the Curriculum and has been showing us all just how fantastic he is getting with his writing and using his phonics to help him to spell! Keep up the hard work Tommy!

Homework for Half Term
Year 2 have taken home their homework packs but if you have misplaced any of it we have attached the pdf files for you to print at home. The maths and reading comprehension should be returned to school but the phonics can remain at home to practise.

POW Projects
For your homework over the half term holidays, choose one of the POWer Projects to complete. There are a wide range to choose from. Remember to select just one project to complete. We look forward to seeing these 🙂
Spellings
For spellings this week, the focus is to look at suffixes. We will focus on particular root words whose final letter (ending in a consonant) is doubled before adding the suffix such as forgotten. You will also have some Y5/6 Orange words to learn too.
